OpSys is an AI-native enterprise platform company dedicated to transforming how energy infrastructure is designed, operated, and optimized — from renewable generation to intelligent grid management across 30+ countries.
OpSys was founded in Dubai in 2015 by a team of power systems engineers who had spent years commissioning renewable plants, substations, and grid-connected battery storage across the Middle East — and who were frustrated by the gap between the software available and what the industry actually needed.
The founding insight was simple: the energy transition would not succeed on hardware alone. It required intelligent software that could manage the complexity of intermittent renewables, distributed storage, and dynamic grid conditions at scale — software built by people who understood the physics, the grid codes, and the operational realities of modern energy systems.
A decade later, OpSys has grown from a Dubai-based engineering firm into a global energy intelligence platform, with 2 GW of renewable capacity under management across 50+ operating sites in more than 30 countries.
Deep expertise in solar PV, wind, and BESS — from string-level inverter control to utility-scale grid integration. Our team has designed and commissioned projects across the Gulf, Africa, and Asia.
Our data science team builds and maintains production ML models for generation forecasting, anomaly detection, and autonomous dispatch — trained on real operational data from 50+ live sites.
Certified to IEC 61850, IEC 61131-3, IEC 62351, and regional grid codes. Our platform meets the strictest cybersecurity and functional safety requirements for critical energy infrastructure.
Six principles that guide every product decision, every customer engagement, and every line of code we write.
Every product is built by engineers who have designed, commissioned, and operated real energy systems. We don't just write software — we solve engineering problems that exist in the field.
AI is not a feature bolt-on — it is the foundation. OpSys is built AI-native from the ground up, embedding machine learning into forecasting, dispatch optimization, and predictive maintenance.
Energy infrastructure is critical. We build to the highest reliability standards — SIL 2 safety integrity, 99.9% uptime SLA, and IEC-compliant architectures that operators can stake their grid on.
From the UAE to Southeast Asia, Europe to Africa — our platform is designed for the full diversity of global energy markets, grid codes, and operational environments across 30+ countries.
We don't sell software and walk away. We partner with clients through the full lifecycle — from initial design and commissioning to ongoing optimization and continuous platform improvement.
Every deployment is measured against real KPIs: forecast accuracy, reserve cost reduction, uptime improvement, and carbon reduction. We hold ourselves accountable to outcomes, not just deliverables.
The OpSys team combines deep power systems engineering with world-class AI research and enterprise software development — united by a shared mission to accelerate the energy transition.
Grid integration, protection, control systems, and IEC standards specialists with hands-on commissioning experience across solar, wind, BESS, and substation projects.
Machine learning engineers building production forecasting, anomaly detection, and autonomous optimization models trained on real operational energy data.
Full-stack and embedded engineers building the OpSys platform with a focus on reliability, performance, and security for critical infrastructure environments.
Commissioning and application engineers based across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia — providing on-site support and ensuring every deployment meets its performance targets.
Our dedicated engineering and manufacturing facility in Dubai Production City is where OpSys hardware products are built, tested, and integrated — and where our software platform is developed and validated against real electrical systems.
Located in Dubai Production City (IMPZ), our 2,500 m² facility houses panel manufacturing, system integration, testing laboratories, and software development teams under one roof — enabling rapid prototyping and end-to-end quality control.
